I need a microphone so people can understand the dialogue in the video. What do you call that you clip to the chest?

Olympus WS-321M Digital Voice Recorder Review (ws321m)
The Olympus WS-Series Digital Voice recorders are packed with features and are designed elegant small. The WS-Series includes three different models that are the WS-311M, WS-321M and WS-331M. The only feature that makes these models is that the storage capacity. They have 512 MB, 1GB and 2GB respectively.
The Olympus WS-321M Digital Voice Recorder is the model we are reviewing and the 1GB version. The WS-321M was designed with the music lover in mind. You can play all your files MP3 and WMA music. It connects to your computer via USB and can synchronize with Windows Media Player.
The sound quality when playing music files is impeccable. It has an equalizer that can adjust to different listening styles such as rock, jazz, pop, music playback etc. also have the technology SRS WOW, which improves the quality of reproduction. I compared the music playback on other models like the Olympus DS-30 and DS-40 and there is no comparison in the richness of sound. If you want your digital voice recorder to double as a portable music player should consider the Olympus WS-321M digital voice recorder.
The WS-321M is Battery Operated one or AAA rechargeable NiMH cell. The WS-321M is small and measures only 3.7 by 1.5 by 0.4 inches, and the elegant white exterior finish makes it look much cooler than the voice recorder of the mean. At the top of the voice recorder are headphones and microphone. On the right side are the play, pause and record buttons. On the left is a slide switch which can switch between voice recorder and music player mode. A round of Ok / Menu button on the front of the recorder, when it acts as quickly press a play button, but when held up to take you to a menu with more options. One of the best things about the WS-321M is its ability to break and plug into a Usb Port. No cables, it essentially becomes jump / USB drive.
The WS-321M is designed to transfer music from your PC to the player a breeze. You can use Windows Media Player or just drag and drop from any file management tool. Since the WS-321M works much like a jump drive / storage device your PC will recognize it as another drive when connected to your computer. You can organize songs by artist, album or genre. You can create folder names for each artist. There is a shuffle mode.
If you want to Record Music with the WS-321M can not meet their expectations, the recorder is designed mainly for voice recording. The WS-321M of the great works for podcasts and play your music collection, but you should not buy just for the aspect of reproduction music. You should buy only if you are planning on using mostly as a voice recorder. The voice recording functions of the recorder is powerful enough for professional use. The registrar must perform well enough for doctors, journalists and businessmen.
Despite all the capabilities Music playback of the WS-321M, is after all a digital voice recorder and that's what it was built. The microphone has two recording modes for the registration of different environments. No dictation mode, which has a lower sensitivity and is designed for the recording of an individual or in a conversation. The other mode is the lecture mode, which has a higher sensitivity and is designed for conferences or where a large group of people. One of the interesting things you can do with the WS-321M is to connect an external Microphone Tie clip (Olympus Tie-clip Microphone ME-52W), can put the recorder in the pocket of someone giving a lecture and have the microphone near the mouth of the speakers for a better quality recording.
Sometimes, the recordings may have background noise that can make reproduction difficult to understand. Not to worry because the WS-321M has a Noise Canceling function and a voice filter for improved reproduction quality. Cancel the noise can be activated to reduce background noise in recordings made in noisy environments. Indeed, the function treats the loudest sounds like the most important and reduces other sounds to make dictation clearer. Voice Filter enhances the human voice by reducing low frequency noise and high during playback. Also, for the transcript of the recordings, the WS-321M has been slow and the playback speed changes rapidly.
Only a couple of things I do not like about the recorder. Since the voice recorder so the quality is small, the built in speaker is small and not very high or high. By using the external speaker, I found myself putting the recorder to my ear so I could hear. If you are playing music or voice recordings, I recommend using the headphones that come with it. The screen size is a bit small, but do what you have to do. Beyond that, I really could not find anything that I resented on the recorder.
When it comes to this, the Olympus WS-321M Recorder Digital voice is a well-rounded unit. It is powerful enough for professional use but also can be used as a device for playing music fun. If you are looking for a recorder that is good enough for professional use, the WS-321M will do everything You Need to do. The music playback capability are a plus, but I would not use the WS-321M as their primary music player.
