Blown fuse in the Power Cord for ipod speakers?
I connected my 110 volt JBL On Stage iPod speakers in a 220-volt outlet. The fuse is blown, but I think he just has blown in the power cord and the speakers are good for the iPod. I wonder where I can find a replacement power cord. Thanks for your help I used an adapter, but I was not thinking of tension. JBL can give me another for $ 30, but I wonder if there is a compatibility a cheaper generic.
A setting of 110 AC plug is not the same as a general configuration 220 AC outlet. are totally pug different and each other … so I'm not sure how he managed to do that. There are many different types of power cables, including welding cable, DLO (locomotive), Type W, Type G-GC and Stage Lighting (Cable Entertainment). These are all made with a neoprene rubber jacket, but each has different thickness and application isolation. This article explains the differences and help you understand how each cable is used.
Welding is the most basic cable, because it is only the copper braid and insulation. The price is incredibly volatile because Copper is a product that changes the daily rate. Type W and Type G-GC and multicore cables used in power applications industrial. They are made similar to SOOW portable cord products, but they are much bigger and handle more amperage. Type W and Type G-GC is made with 30 gauge copper naked twisted to compensate for 3 or 4 drivers. The conductors are isolated and then covered with a thick neoprene jacket general duty. The only difference between these two wires supply is of type G-GC with two small ground wires and check ground wire as well. The W type has only 2, 3, 4 or 5 conductors of the same size.
Stage Lighting Cable (Cable Entertainment) is used in the industrial lighting market for theater, television, nightclubs, images movement and focus. Has 30 gauge bare copper braid and a neoprene jacket. It is very similar to the welding cable, but with a slightly thicker jacket and a temperature of 105 ° C instead of 90 ° C.
